In 2014 I gained my accreditation through Elmhurst Energy, this qualifies me to carry out work as a Domestic Energy Assessor and produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) or Reports (EPRs) on existing dwellings. While working with Mark Group, who were one of the biggest insulation companies in the UK, I helped many home owners and landlords to receive various insulation measures through ECO funding. Part of the process at that time was the requirement of producing an EPC for each property which showed the recommendation for insulation to improve the energy rating and also to show the carbon reduction. 

I am continuously expanding my knowledge in the industry to provide helpful and beneficial advice to people looking to improve the efficiency of their homes and at the same time helping to reduce carbon emmissions.  At a time where we all have to look at how to help the environment, EPCs or EPRs are vital in showing how and where improvements can be made.

I am also accredited to carry out Legionella Risk Assessments. With the requirement for landlords to provide both a current EPC and also a Legionella Risk Report on rental properties I completed my accreditation so I can offer my service to provide both during a single visit which helps to keep any inconvenience to the tenant to a minimum.

For the past 3 years I have been fortunate to be part of many projects throughout Fife, Perthshire, Dundee and Angus where 100's of homes have been been given External Wall Insulation or Heating upgrades providing the residents with a more comfortable home which is more affordable to run.

For your peace of mind I am fully insured with both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity policies and  hold a valid Certificate of Basic Disclosure.
